About
We built inkplume because SEO content was eating our weekends.
inkplume publishes one researched, illustrated, internally-linked SEO article to your site every day — and exchanges backlinks with a peer network in the background — for $99/month.
The story
I'm Abdel. Before inkplume I was running a SaaS side project and trying to grow organic traffic the manual way: keyword research, outline, draft, edit, schema, publish, internal links, hope something ranks. One article a week, on a good week. After eighteen months I had a blog that produced traffic and a backlog that consumed every evening. The math fell apart fast.
Hiring a writer at $400 a post fixes the throughput problem and breaks the margin. Hiring an agency fixes both and breaks the brand voice. The full-stack automation tools I tried produced articles that read like they were generated — uniform paragraph length, every H2 a listicle, no point of view. They also ranked, sometimes, but they didn't get cited by AI search, which by mid-2025 was clearly where new traffic was coming from.
inkplume is the tool I wanted to exist. It writes with a real structural template (definitional answer block, question-shaped H2s, FAQ with schema, one specific number per paragraph) instead of the generic listicle pattern. It builds backlinks through a triangulated P2P network — no direct reciprocal swaps, topical-relevance gated — instead of paid placements. And it publishes natively to eight CMS platforms, so the “copy the article into WordPress and paste in the images” tax is gone.
What we actually believe
- AI search is the new Google. Google AI Overviews reach 1.5 billion people a month. ChatGPT's web search and Perplexity each handle hundreds of millions of queries. If your content isn't structured to be cited there, it doesn't matter how well it ranks in the blue links.
- Brand mentions > backlinks for AI citations. The Ahrefs December 2025 study of 75,000 brands found a 3× stronger correlation between brand mentions on Reddit/YouTube and AI citations than between backlinks and citations. The link-building budget should split.
- Direct reciprocity in link exchanges is detectable. Triangulation (A→B, B→C, C→A) isn't. Networks that don't enforce the difference produce links that pass no value and risk penalties.
- AI-assisted is not AI-generated. Every article inkplume produces goes through a structural template before a large model writes anything, so the output has a real point of view, not paraphrased SERP consensus.
How the product works
You connect your site (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Ghost, Notion, Wix, Framer, or self-hosted via API). You give us a handful of seed keywords or a competitor URL. Each day, a worker pipeline runs: keyword pick, SERP fetch, top-10 competitor scrape, PAA extraction, outline generation, parallel section writing with brand-voice training, FAQ block, meta + slug, image generation, internal linking via semantic search across your existing pages, a backlink-exchange pass against the peer network, schema markup, and finally a publish (or draft, if you prefer human review).
We use Claude Sonnet for the writing, Claude Haiku for the cheap operations like meta and FAQ generation, Flux Schnell for images, and our own embedding pipeline (text-embedding-3-small in pgvector) for the internal linking and topical-relevance gates. The whole thing runs on a single VPS for now — deliberately, because the economics only work if the infrastructure is lean.
